Located within easy reach of the River Stour, this wonderful family holiday home is a great place for your holiday. Enjoy some watersports and sailing on the river or head over to the Quomps Splash pool and Playpark, an ideal place to spend a sunny day cooling down and tiring the little ones out. Explore the wide network of walking and cycling routes on offer over at the New Forest then after a day out exploring the local area there is a wonderful selection of places to eat from pub grub to fine dining and celebrity chefs.
Enter this holiday home on the ground floor where you will find the king-size zip-and-link bedroom (that can be made up as a twin on request), benefitting from a shower room with a shower and WC just opposite. As you head down the corridor you will find the open-plan kitchen/diner which is well-equipped for rustling up some home-cooked food with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There is space to seat all your guests so you can look forward to socialising together and planning your adventures ahead. From the kitchen/diner there are double patio doors where on a warm day you can open them up to let in the fresh air. As you head upstairs to the first floor you will find the lounge, a comfy space to watch TV after a busy day. There are patio doors leading out to a balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee or sit with a glass of wine and admire the views across the river on a nice evening. The master king-size bedroom can also be found on this level with an en-suite bathroom with bath and WC. To complete the property on the second floor, you will find the final double bedroom which has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and WC.
Outside, there is an enclosed lawned garden complete with outdoor furniture, ideal for enjoying some al fresco dining whilst appreciating the climate of the South Coast. There is parking for three cars at the front of the house.

Christchurch lies between the beautiful New Forest National Park and Bournemouth. Visit the area for the beaches which extend for four miles and are beautiful golden sand. The nearby villages of Highcliffe and Mudeford offer fantastic opportunities for crab fishing. Highcliffe Beach and Friars Cliffe are safe for swimming. The town has an array of shops in the pedestrianized Saxon square as well as a weekly market. Christchurch has a variety of cafes and pubs around the Quay, relax and soak up the tranquil atmosphere. Christchurch plays host to the Food and Wine Festival in May and has over 100 stalls. Join the atmosphere of the Music Festival on the first weekend of July. Catch the Annual Regatta held on the second week of August which ends with a superb fireworks display.
Activities and Attraction
Take a boat to the vast Nature reserve of Brownsea Island owned by the National Trust. Try Watermans Adventure Park catering for different age groups. Or, for family fun then Christchurch Quay and Splash Park cater for all ages. Adventure Wonderland is a great park catering to younger children. We have visited several times and it always goes down well and we stay until closing! Christchurch and Highcliffe Castle are a must for history lovers with Highcliffe Castle having a cafe to relax in after your tour.
