Description

Located in the pretty village of Highcliffe, where the forest meets the beach. This beautiful three-bedroom house is an ideal place to stay for the whole family, including your four-legged friend. Spend the day at Highcliffe beach nearby, which is great for bodyboarding or Highcliffe Castle, a grade one listed cliff-top mansion steeped in history, there is something for everyone to enjoy close by. Head a little further afield and enjoy a day out discovering the wildlife and woodlands of the New Forest. You’re spoilt for choice with the fantastic selection of place to eat out, from traditional fish and chips to European cuisine.

Walk through the front entrance into the welcoming hallway, you will be greeted first by the lounge with a TV which is a great space to gather, head on through into the second lounge then through into the dining room, which is sat within the extension at the back of the house. There is ample seating in the dining room for the whole group to socialise and enjoy a meal cooked up in the kitchen, with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A WC completes this level. Head up to the first floor where all three bedrooms can be found, a king bedroom boasting views over the enclosed rear garden, next door is the twin bedroom with the single bedroom at the end of the hallway. The main bathroom with shower over bath and WC can also be found on this level.

Head out into the enclosed paved garden from the conservatory and enjoy that al fresco dining experience around the garden furniture provided. This is an ideal space for the whole family, including your four-legged friend. Parking within the development is on a first come first served basis within the parking areas.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Area Details

Christchurch

Christchurch lies between the beautiful New Forest National Park and Bournemouth. Visit the area for the beaches which extend for four miles and are beautiful golden sand. The nearby villages of Highcliffe and Mudeford offer fantastic opportunities for crab fishing. Highcliffe Beach and Friars Cliffe are safe for swimming. The town has an array of shops in the pedestrianized Saxon square as well as a weekly market. Christchurch has a variety of cafes and pubs around the Quay, relax and soak up the tranquil atmosphere. Christchurch plays host to the Food and Wine Festival in May and has over 100 stalls. Join the atmosphere of the Music Festival on the first weekend of July. Catch the Annual Regatta held on the second week of August which ends with a superb fireworks display.

Activities and Attraction

Take a boat to the vast Nature reserve of Brownsea Island owned by the National Trust. Try Watermans Adventure Park catering for different age groups. Or, for family fun then Christchurch Quay and Splash Park cater for all ages. Adventure Wonderland is a great park catering to younger children. We have visited several times and it always goes down well and we stay until closing! Christchurch and Highcliffe Castle are a must for history lovers with Highcliffe Castle having a cafe to relax in after your tour.
